The whole effort of the program of NEED is to make HOPE ACADEMY an unsurpassed school whose graduates will be able to get good jobs.

Emphasis is on Discipline
HOPE ACADEMY maintains very strict dis-ciplinein teaching and learning, in attendance and punctuality and in general behavior at school and outside. "Discipline with love" is the practicing principle.

Single-Mindedness of purpose
This program concentrates its efforts on the sponsored child. The program does not include any other person. Its singleminded devotion is to make every sponsored child grow well scholastically, physically, and spiritually to be "somebody" and hopefully elevate their families and the opportunity with them.

Remaining a "Big Family"
NEED plans to make it's sponsorship program grow slowly and gradually, so that it remains the "family" that it is. The sponsors and the donors, the office people at NEED, as well as everyone from the Principal to the last child are familiar with each other.

Emphasis on Low Overhead
NEED's overhead expenses in the USA are very low. There are no international offices or officers to pay at the project end.
